Pick a month and see which destinations suit it. Compare the whole year in one table, split your nights across stops, and generate a packing list. No accounts, no bookings, no prices — the tool runs entirely in the browser.
Which destinations work in a given month.
Every destination across all twelve months.
Uses the time-zone database built into the browser, so daylight saving is handled automatically. Nothing is requested from the network for this.
What the ratings mean and where they stop being useful.
Each destination gets one of three values per month: suits the month, workable, or better elsewhere. A finer scale would imply precision that does not exist here.
The rating folds together weather, crowding and whether things are open. A month can drop because everything shuts, not only because it rains.
The values are editorial judgements, not measurements. They are not derived from climate records, not averaged from reviews, and not updated automatically.
They describe a typical year. Any specific year can differ, and short trips are far more exposed to that variance than long ones.
Each destination carries a minimum stay below which the trip is mostly transit, and a point past which the returns fall away. Nights are distributed between those bounds.
Half a day is reserved at each end of every hop, so a trip with more stops has fewer usable nights. That is the arithmetic the tool exists to make visible.
Everything on this page runs locally except the currency rates, which are fetched once from a public exchange-rate service when the converter is used. The date the rates were published is always shown beside the result.
If that request fails the converter says so rather than showing a figure. Rates move, and a bank or card will not give you the mid-market number in any case.
No prices, no availability, no booking and no affiliate links. Nothing on this site connects to an operator and nothing here earns a commission.
Entry requirements, transport schedules and opening seasons change constantly and are deliberately excluded. Check those against an official source.
RightMonth is a single-page planning tool. It holds a small, hand-maintained set of destinations and does four things with them: filter by month, show the year at a glance, divide a number of nights sensibly, and turn a destination and season into a packing list.
The dataset is deliberately small. A tool that covers everywhere ends up saying nothing useful about anywhere.
